The Design

The VIOTEK GN32DB is a 32-inch display that will give you a lot of screen real estate to work on extra projects and have multiple windows open.

To begin with, the display’s frame is made from a durable plastic material and has an excellent sleek looking design.

Furthermore, the GN32DB is aesthetic and has an elegant and futuristic look to the design. With its 1800R curvature display, you’ll be most likely be immersed to your multimedia and gaming environment.

And thanks to the displays anti-glare property, you’ll be able to enjoy your multimedia and gaming experience without any issues nor reflections.

Furthermore, the stock stand is big and heavy by design and will serve the monitor a good foundation, but you may experience a little bit of wobble from the stand from time to time. However, due to the sizeable V-shaped base of the stand you’ll most likely need extra spacing for your keyboard to be truly comfortable.

Unfortunately, the stock isn’t ergonomic by design, but the display can be only be tilted.

In case if you’re not satisfied with the stock stand, then you can install a VESA mount measuring at 75mmx75mm or 100mmx100mm. With the VESA mount, you’ll be able to adjust the monitor in whichever way you like entirely. And you’ll also be able to mount the GN32DB onto the wall, and enjoy your favorite films and play a few console gaming as well. But you’ll need the different parts for the wall mount to get the display adequately set up for mounting.

The I/O panels face downwards and are located in the bottom of the monitor. The ports consist of one DisplayPort 1.2, one DVI, one HDMI 2.0, and one 3.5mm Audio Jack. Additionally, the display also comes with a DisplayPort cable and a power cord which measures at 6 feet long.

And thanks to its HDMI input, you’ll also be able to do some console gaming (PS4, Xbox One) and plug your console system into the GN32DB display and enjoy playing consoles to the next level.

However, the only downfall to the panel setup is that you may have to flatten the monitor down onto a surface and connect the cables to the ports from there.

Also, the display comes with built-in speakers which have decent sound quality. But you’ll be better off with a set of dedicated speakers and awesome headphones down the road, such as the Sennheiser PXC 550’s or the Sony WH 1000XM3 Headphones.

Located on the right side underneath the display, you’ll see the OSD controls. The only problem is that it may be a bit hard at first to spot them. The buttons also don’t protrude out as much, so it may be hard to reconfigure your display.

Performance and Features

With the VIOTEK GN32DB, you’ll get a 32-inch display with a resolution of 2540x1440p, with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a 4ms response time.

Considering that the GN32DB is a VA panel, you’ll get the best of both worlds of image quality and speed, which makes this monitor very suitable for gaming and working on different projects.

Furthermore, the monitor has awesome color clarity and color depth. And when viewing certain scenes which are dark or bright, you’ll be able to see the richest darks and the brilliant lights, and this is crucial if you’re a serious gamer.

With the monitor having a 144Hz of refresh rate and a response time of 4ms when viewing fast-paced action scenes, you won’t get ghosting, nor motion blur. Having a high refresh rate will give you a slight advantage when it comes down to competitive gaming.

If you do have an AMD graphics card, you’ll be able to use the displays FreeSync feature as well. Once FreeSync is on, you’ll be able to have smooth and buttery-like graphics without screen tearing nor ghosting.

And if you do have an Nvidia graphics card, you may or may not be able to use the G-Sync feature; it’ll depend entirely on your Nvidia card. But the current up to date Nvidia GPU’s can activate G-Sync regardless if the monitor only supports FreeSync.

And another alternative to using the FreeSync if you do happen to have an Nvidia’s graphics card is that you can download the drivers from Nvidia’s website and you’ll be able to use the FreeSync feature that way fully.

Furthermore, you won’t have any dead pixels when gaming nor working on projects that require a level of detailed work. Instead, you’ll get clear and crisp images.

You won’t be able to see any light bleed as well, and the GN32DB is a VA panel that outperforms the IPS and TN panel in terms of black levels. The black levels for this display are superb.

And due to its 1800R curvature, you may think that you’ll see some distorted images in certain scenes, but you won’t because you’ll still get clear and excellent pixel density.

And with its 144Hz refresh rate, during movies or gaming, you won’t notice any distortion as well. Considering the size of the humongous displays, your images remain crisp and detailed.

Overall, the pixel density for the GN32DB is high quality, and you won’t see any distortions at all, just an immersive experience that you’ll be able to absorb yourself in.

The performance and speed of the VIOTEK GN32DB are incredible and is great because the GN32Db is like two panels into one.

The Pros

  • The GN32DB has great image quality and there are no dead pixels just clean images
  • There is no backlight bleed
  • You can always change the stock stand with a VESA mount (100mmx100mm)
  • It’s pretty much affordable

The Cons

  • The display’s bezel is a bit larger than what it really seems
  • The color vibrancy isn’t as great
  • The stand isn’t as ergonomically design, you can only tilt the display

In Conclusion

The VIOTEK GN32DB is an excellent monitor to have if you’re a gamer and don’t mind the color vibrancy sacrifice. Hopefully, this VIOTEK GN32DB review has helped you.

Overall, the GN32DB is an excellent widescreen gaming monitor with high speedy refresh rates and excellent response time.

If you’re looking for a budgeted display, then you may want to consider this monitor.

  1. My grandson is a serious gamer and having read through this post I am going to share the URL with him so he can come and check this out and other posts here. He desperately needs a new monitor as he cracked his last week and he is gutted so is in the hunt to replace his one and this could be just right for him. Thank you

  2. I have known VIOTEK product to be an amazing product. It is fascinating to see another high image quality monitor that is gamers friendly because of it wide screen and its quick response. VIOTEK GN32DB would be a good option for a gamer looking for a high speed monitor that can improve their gaming experience.

  3. This monitor is said to have HDMI 2.0, but it will not support 1440/ 120 fps over hdmi. Which HDMI 2.0 should support. Am I missing something?
