Design

The design of the ViewSonic Elite XG350R-C is solidly built with the highest quality material. And with a beautiful matte-black finish to the display. And you’ll find a bit of gloss in the design as well.

Furthermore, the display size is 35-inches in size, and you’ll have more than enough screen real estate to have multiple projects open and game at the same time. The widescreen display does give content creators and gamers alike the advantage as well.

Also, the bezels are standard by size, not too thin and not too bulky. You’ll still get that immersive effect when operating the XG350R-C.

Additionally, the screen itself has a curved radius of 1800R and will add the necessary immersion effect when it boils down to gaming, and other multimedia uses.

The stand is well ergonomically designed, and you’ll be able to tilt pivot, swivel, and make the height adjustments to the display for your viewing conveniences.

Also, if you’re not entirely in favor with the stock stand, you’ll be able to replace the stand with a 100mmx100mm VESA mount. With the VESA mount, the display will have more flexibility and freedom to adjust in positions.

Furthermore, the I/O panels are easy to access and are located in the back of the panel. The panels consist of one DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI O, three USB 3.0, and one 3.5mm Audio Jack. There’s plenty of connectivity, and you can also use the display as a charging station for your mobile devices and your other electronic devices as well.

And thanks to its HDMI ports, you can plug in your PS4 or X-Box One into the display, and be able to enjoy widescreen gaming on the XG350R-C panel.

Furthermore, the monitor also has two built-in 5-watt speakers that you can use. However, you’ll be better off with a set of dedicated headphones and a sound system.

Performance and Features

With the ViewSonic monitor’s resolution of 3440×1440 UWQHD and a display size of 35-inches, you’ll have a behemoth of a screen that you can fully immerse yourself into.

And if you’re a competitive gamer as well, you’ll benefit from the high refresh rates of 100Hz and a response time of 3ms, and you won’t have any motion blurs nor trails when gaming in high fast-paced action scenes.

If you do have an AMD graphics card, you’ll be able to utilize FreeSync and have smoother and ghost-free gameplay fully. Once FreeSync is on you’ll experience smoother and buttery-like gameplay without any screen tearing.

However, if you do have an Nvidia GPU, you’ll be able to use FreeSync as well, but for specific cards, you may need to go to the Nvidia’s website and download the drivers for you to utilize the sync features fully.

Also, there are no dead pixels, and the images are crisp and clear. And you’ll also experience the excellent color depth and image clarity, thanks to its 100% sRGB color range.

The contrast lighting measures in 300 cd/m² which will give you some proper brightness levels, and will provide you with some of the brilliant lights and the richest darks. And this is great if you’re gaming competitively as well.

And the XG350R-C also comes with HDR mode, and once activated, you’ll be able to see significant differences when viewing different multimedia and when it comes to gaming.

Overall, the ViewSonic Elite XG350R-C is very fast and has a 144Hz refresh rate, with FreeSync/G-Sync capabilities.

The monitor is very flexible, thanks to its ergonomic stand, and if you’re not satisfied with the stock stand, you can also opt-in for a VESA mount as well and be a lot more flexible in terms of the monitors’ position.

And if you’re a big fan of RGB lighting, then you’ll be most likely be satisfied with the RGB strands located in the rear of the panel, which adds to the immersive effect whenever you’re gaming or viewing any multimedia because the RGB’s synchronizes with the games as well.
