Display Design

The 32-inch display is a work of art and very aesthetic as well. Thanks to its widescreen curvature design, it’ll enhance your immersion experience.

Also, the overall frames are made up of high-quality, durable material, with a beautiful matte-black finish to the whole framework, giving the Philips 328E1CA a more elegant look to the display.

If you look on the back display, you’ll find the logo along with the excellent rear panel texture; you’ll be able to tell it’s well genuinely crafted and designed.

The monitor isn’t bezel-free, but are thin enough that you should still be able to have that immersive experience without any issues.

With thin bezels, you’ll be able to add another Philips 328E1CA display having dual monitors for an enormous screen real estate for you to work on different projects and have multiple windows open, which are all awesome as well.

Also, the stand is pretty solid and sturdy, and thanks to its square-based shape.

If you look at the base of the stand, it has a nice square ring design to it, also giving the monitor a more stable foundation.

Unfortunately, the default stand won’t be able to adjust in height, rotate, and swivel.

Surprisingly the stand can tilt, which is convenient if you ever want to adjust the monitor in a different angle or position.

However, if you’re not fully in with the default stand, you can always swap it for a 100x100mm VESA mount, which lets you take full control in terms of monitor positioning and maneuverability.

The Philips 328E1CA display also comes with two 3-watt built-in speakers that you’ll be able to listen to. They work and sound pretty decent, however, which is excellent for an add-on.

But you’re almost always better off with a set of great speakers or a pair of excellent headphones for a better sound immersion.

Also, you’ll be able to find the connectivity in the rear of the display and make the connections with ease.

The connectivities consist of one DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI 2.0, and one 5mm audio jack, which you can also plug in your awesome headphones such as the Sony WH 1000XM3, or the Bose 700 which state of the art headphones.

Additionally, the HDMI 2.0’s are also awesome to have because you’ll be able to plug in your gaming consoles and start using 4K, which looks very amazing, making the images crisp and life-like.

And with 4K resolution, the display has 10-bit, making colors very life-like and real. Which gives creatives and producers the slight advantage when producing and editing image work,

In terms of OSD, the OSD panels are easy to use and are located on the right side of the display.

However, it would be super convenient if the OSD used a joystick for navigational purposes. But the buttons were very responsive and is very responsive.

Performance and Features

The Philips 328E1CA’s measure at 32-inches, with a resolution of 3840×2160, running with a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 4ms response time.

The contrast ratios are at 2500:1, with a brightness level of 250cd/m², which gives you a plethora of spectrum for both contrast and brightness, with a screen aspect ratio of 16:9.

The display has a 1800R curvature, giving you a more immersive experience when gaming and watching movies.

The color accuracy is on point, making the Philips 328E1CA great for editing image work and photos, and also making the display one of the best monitor for photography.

During gameplays such as Tomb Raider, during in dark environments, you’ll be able to experience a much richer dark, and also experience brilliant lights, which gives the game an added atmospheric look.

Also, you can turn on the FreeSync, which allows you to have a super smooth buttery-like gameplay, especially during fast-paced scenes.

And if you do have an Nvidia graphics card, you’ll also be able to use G-Sync as well. Just download the latest drivers from Nvidia’s website, and you’re good to go.

The Philips 328E1CA display is a VA panel, and in terms of angle viewing, you’ll start to see the colors and images disappear. But this shouldn’t be an issue when viewing the screen directly in front of you.
