Display Design

The LG 34WL750 B display measures in at 34-inches with an ultra-wide curvature design and looks aesthetically pleasing that you can admire the display from afar.

In addition, the overall built has a beautiful matte-black frame and has no bezels, which is fantastic for an added immersion experience within your gaming and multimedia sessions.

The stand has an excellent wide U-shaped base that allows the display to sit on an excellent foundation. Additionally, the display can only adjust in height and tilt.

If you’re not entirely with the default stand, you can opt-in for a 100x100mm VESA mount, which allows the display to be truly flexible.

You can find the connectivity panel in the rear of the display, which consists of one DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI 2.0, and one 3.5mm audio jack. There’s not a plethora of connectivity, but with two HDMI ports, you’ll be able to plug in your extra gaming consoles. And if you want to plug in more devices, you can invest in an HDMI switch as well.

Additionally, you’ll be able to control the OSD configurations through using a joystick, which is easy and user-friendly to use, compared to traditional buttons.

Performance and Features

The LG 34WL750 B has a resolution of 3440×1440, with a refresh rate of 60Hz and a 5ms response time, which is decent for casual gaming and multimedia use. And you’ll be able to use HDR 10 as well.

However, if you’re a competitive gamer, then you’ll most likely want to get a higher refresh rate monitor with lower response time.

Also, the display has a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a brightness level of 300 cd/m². And with a 99% SRGB coverage, these specs are fantastic if you’re a creative, producer, and a professional.

And thanks to its accuracy in color and a wide range of gamut, you’ll be able to work professionally truly and, at the same time, have an appreciation of the life-like colors.

With its 21:9 screen aspect ratio, it’ll be like having two monitors into one, making the LG 34WL750 B a behemoth of a monitor.

In addition, you’ll be able to easily plug in your MacBook Pro and have the LG 34WL750 B be an extended monitor, which also works well.

The monitor is FreeSync ready and will let your games run butter-smooth, without any ghosting nor screen tearing. Unfortunately, the display isn’t G-Sync certified, so you may have to download the latest drivers from Nvidia’s site to have it fully compatible with your Nvidia graphics cards.

Being an IPS panel, you’ll be able to view the screen from different angles and still have color consistency, and images and colors won’t fade, which is great if you’re viewing the screen from different angles.

In general, the LG 34WL750 B does pack the visual and color performance, which is awesome for viewing your favorite movies, to editing professional projects.

The LG 34WL750 B monitor is a behemoth of a display and does deliver the impressive quality of colors and performance. The LG 34WL750 B is an excellent alternative for a 4K as well.

However, with a low 60Hz refresh rate, the LG 34WL750 B isn’t suitable for competitive and serious gaming.

Overall this display is geared mostly towards creatives, professionals, editors, and artists that need a wide range of gamut, contrast, and precise color accuracy to get creative projects done.
