With the Intel Core i3, you’ll do great on speed and computer processing. The Core i3 is a perfect budget processor. You’ll be able to rock games on high settings. However, it’ll be dependent on a great GPU to max out your games settings.

The Core i3-8100 will run around 3.6 GHz with four cores and four threads. It’s also sufficient in energy and only uses about 65 watts.

The only downside to this is that the Core i3 doesn’t come with a stock cooler, so you’ll have to invest in a separate cooler.

The Core i3 is the ideal processor when going for a $500 budget plan.

Motherboard: Gigabyte H310M

CORSAIR VS Series, VS550

With a 550 watt power, this is enough to put efficient power into all of your PC components.

However, the downside to this is that it’s not modular. So you won’t be able to organize your cables as efficient, and you won’t be able to take out any excessive wires.

Questions That You May Have On The $500 PC Build

What Are Some Advantages And Disadvantages Between The Intel Core i3-8100 vs. AMD Ryzen Series?

If you’re looking for a price difference between the two series, you’ll be able to get a Ryzen 3 2200G for $20 cheaper than the Core i3. However, the Intel Core i3 is still the better performing processor compared to the Ryzen 3.

However, The Ryzen 5 2600 is a well-rounded processor and can outperform the Intel Core i3-8100. The Ryzen 5 has a lot more cores and threads compared to the Core i3.

You’ll be able to get the Ryzen 5 for $40 more than the Intel Core i3.

Most games don’t fully utilize all four cores, so you’ll be great with the Intel Core i3. I say this because the Core i3 will still give you an almost exact performance compared to the Ryzen 5 when it comes to gaming.

With the Core i3 on the list, you’ll be able to save money and invest in a powerful graphics card, which is heavily relied upon when you’re gaming. Equipped with the ASUS RX 570, you’ll be able to fit in a powerful card with a great processor for under $500.

The RX 570 also outperforms the GTX 1050 Ti in gaming performances. When gaming on the RX 570, you’ll be able to beat the GTX 1050 most of the time.

The RX 570 also runs smoothly on a 1080P monitor. Considering that both the RX 570 and the GTX 1050 Ti have the same price tag, the RX 570 has a slight advantage when it comes to performance.

Now we have gone portable laptops I mean but it’s nice to know there are still top PC’s out there

  7. I’m using the Intel core i3 while my friend is using AMD Ryzen 5. There are several similarities and differences in the two procesors. Looking at the price, Ryzen 5 price is usually higher than Intel core i3 eventhough their performance is a little bit similar maybe and the differences is usually due to the modifications made on the board. But however some gamers usually prefer Rysen 5 2600 because of its compatibility with complex games when compared with core i3
