Display Design

The Gigabyte G27Q monitor has an excellent 27-inch design, allowing you to have many screen real estate and have multiple projects open while simultaneously working on other projects.

The G27Q is a curved display and is overall flat; however, this shouldn’t pose any problem because you still get that immersion feel when gaming or watching all the multi-media.

Speaking of immersion, you can see all three sides of the display have thin bezels, allowing more absorption to your multi-media experiences.

In addition, the overall design of the display has an excellent matte-black texture design, and the material has a high-quality plastic feel in general.

Also, the screen itself is made up of high-quality, matte material which handles reflections very well. However, it may not handle direct sunlight well but should handle other light sources with ease.

Along with a nice ergonomic stand, the G27Q monitor sits on a solid foundation. Thanks to its V-shaped base, the monitor sits on solidly and won’t wobble when nudged or slightly moved.

The default stand can adjust and height, tilt, and swivel; however, it cannot rotate nor swivel.

But you can swap in the default stand with a 100x100mm VESA mount, which allows the monitor to be more flexible in movement, and flexible in screen positioning.

You’ll be able to find the OSD panel on the back of the monitor, which consists of one joystick and is quite user-friendly when navigating and configuring through the OSD menu.

Not only that, but you can also control, and we reconfigure the OSD settings through its OSD SideKick feature, which lets you control the settings via your keyboard and mouse.

Also, there is a plethora of connectivity, which you can find on the rear of the display, consisting of one DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI 2.0, three USB 3.0, and one audio jack. With such connectivity, you’ll be able to connect your gaming consoles and enjoy console gaming on the G27Q monitor. And this is one of the best PS5 gaming monitors as well.

Overall the design of the Gigabyte G27Q is excellent and aesthetically pleasing, yet simple and elegant at the same time. Along with its minimal OCD panel, the stand is also ergonomically well designed, that you may adjust the display in different positions with ease.
