BenQ Mobiuz EX2710 Review: Awesome 27-Inch, 144Hz Gaming Display

The BenQ QX2710 APS gaming monitor is an absolute beast. With a high refresh rate, you’ll be able to gain a competitive edge when it boils down to gaming.

This monitor is catered to fast-paced action gaming and sports games due to its high refresh rate and excellent color consistency.

Measuring in 27-inches, the display will provide you a lot of screen real estate, which you can take advantage of and have multiple windows and projects open while simultaneously gaming.

So before investing in the QX2710, let’s jump into its specifications, performance design, and features.

Display Design

The Ben QEX2710 27-inch display has a nice, aesthetically pleasing look to it. Thanks to its excellent matte black finish, the display is also light in weight, making it very portable and easy to carry if you ever on the go.

Additionally, the display is bezel-free on all three sides, making it great for immersive gameplay, with better gaming and multimedia experience altogether.

And with its thin bezels, you could attach a second monitor and have dual screens, providing you more screen real estate as well.

The default stand has an excellent triangular based shape to it, which provides a solid foundation for the monitor to sit on. Also, the stand’s base doesn’t take a lot of room, so you’ll save plenty of space on your desk.

Along with an ergonomically stand, which can adjust in height, swivel, and tilt, the monitor cannot pivot.

However, if you’re not fully on board with the default stand, you could always swap it out for a 100×100 mm VESA mount, allowing the monitor to have more freedom and flexibility in movement.

If you look in the back of the monitor, you’ll be able to find the connectivity, which consists of two HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.2, and one 3.5mm audio jack. And as you can see, there are limited amounts of ports that you can connect to.

However, you may have to tilt the monitor upside down to get the connections right into place, so it should be relatively easy to connect the required connections.

Also, navigating through the OSD menu has never been easier, thanks to its OSD joystick, which is very convenient when navigating through the menu. And the motor has a feature called, Extreme Control which allows you to input presets for convenience.

In addition, the monitor also has built-in speakers (TreVolo speakers), which performs pretty decently; however, it’s always recommended to have your dedicated sound system or a pair of great headphones.

Performance and Features

The BenQ QX2710 measures 27-inches, with a resolution of 1920×1080 resolution, along with a quick refresh rate of 144 Hz, including a rapid 1 ms response time.

While gaming, there was no ghosting presence nor lag thanks to its rapid 1 ms response time.

With a 144 Hz refresh rate, fast gaming scenes turned out to be super smooth and super buttery.

Additionally, the screen is made up of a high-quality matte black finish. Also, it prevents glaring, which is fantastic if the monitor is directly infant of a bright source of light.

Also, the contrast ratio sits at 1000:1, with a brightness level of 400 cd/m2. In addition, the monitor also has a 99% SRGB game in coverage, which is great for casual gaming and photo editors as well, and the color accuracy is on point.

The monitor also comes with HDR10, which looks fine during gameplay, but there’s a second feature called, HDRi which overshadows HDR 10 and performs a lot better.

The monitor also comes with FreeSync Premium, which performs excellent because it eliminates all screen-tearing and ghosting, resulting in super smooth gaming sessions.

However, it is not G-Sync certified, so it’s not guaranteed to operate on all Nvidia graphics cards. And you may have to go to Nvidia’s website and download their drivers.

Also, the input lag sits around 4ms, which is outstanding, and screen synchronization shouldn’t be a concern.

Overall the gaming monitor is great for competitive gaming, which also comes with great pics of responsiveness.

The BenQ EX2710 gaming monitor is an excellent budgeted display that will give you the bang for your buck.

Additionally, the monitor is also equipped with FreeSync Premium, which is an added bonus; however, it’s not fully compatible with Nvidia cards.

So if you want a well-rounded gaming display, you’ll have to go for the EX2710 gaming monitor, which also includes excellent features such as the HDRi and will give you great OSD features with easy to navigate user-friendly menus.

It’s an overall great IPS monitor, along with a 144 Hz refresh rate, which will give you the slight edge for competitive gaming.
